We are seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving school in Derby this September 2025. This full-time, permanent position offers the exciting opportunity to teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5, inspiring students to explore the world of technology and computing.

The Role:

  • Position: Computer Science Teacher

  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
  • Teaching: KS3, KS4, and KS5Computer Science

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Science to KS3, KS4, and KS5, preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that foster student interest in technology and computing.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their potential.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Support extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or STEM projects, to enhance students' learning experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • QTS or PGCE in teaching.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
  • A passion for Technology and the ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organizationalskills.
