Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Computer Science in a school located in Islington?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with this Client, a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Islington, to appoint a part-time Computer Science Teacher from the Autumn Term (Monday 1 September - Friday 19 December 2025 with the possibility to extend). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled teacher to join a well-supported department for 1 day per week, with the possibility of an additional day offering general cover, including Maths or Business.
About the Role:
Position: Computer Science Teacher (Part-Time)
Schedule: 1 day per week (plus 1 optional day for general cover)
Start Date: Autumn Term 2025
Contract Type: Part-time, potential extension
Salary: London MPS/UPS (pro rata)
Location: Islington, North London
Interviews: Arranged immediately upon CV shortlist

Job Role Requirements:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes
Option to teach general cover, including Maths or Business, for a second day

A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a closely related field
Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
Confidence to contribute positively to a high-performing department
