We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our vibrant department and help inspire the next generation of tech leaders.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Computer Science Teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a passion for technology, helping students develop problem-solving, coding, and computational thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Computer Science, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their learning.
  2. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that inspire a love for computer science.
  3. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to encourage academic growth.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and planning.
  5. Provide additional support to students through after-school clubs, revision sessions, and mentoring.
  6. Foster an inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to succeed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  1. A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  3. Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum for secondary school students.
  4. Experience teaching Computer Science to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Passionate about inspiring students to develop their skills in programming, algorithms, and digital literacy.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with a range of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
