Job Opportunity: Computer Science Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time Computer Science teacher for an exceptional school in Pocklington. The position starts on 2nd September 2024 and is initially until Christmas, with potential for extension and permanence. Compensation ranges from £153.85 to £211.96 per day, based on experience and qualifications.

The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with planning and marking responsibilities. Opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 (A Level) are available for suitable candidates.

The school is conveniently located in Pocklington, featuring free onsite parking and a strong reputation within the local community. All temporary staff are valued and treated with respect.

Support for professional development is provided through CPD via The National College. An experienced head of department will assist, and ECTs are encouraged to apply. The school is willing to sign off a term of ECT for the right candidate.

Candidate Requirements:

• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE in Lifelong Learning)
• Experience working within UK schools
• Experience teaching Computer Science or IT
• Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
• Full CV history
• Legal right to work in the UK
