Computer Science Teacher

An ambitious secondary school in Solihull is seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students in a school that embraces digital innovation and values high-quality STEM education.

Key Details

  • Position: Computer Science Teacher
  • Location: Solihull
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Long-term supply
  • Rate: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

The Role
You’ll be teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that cover programming, algorithms, systems architecture, and the ethical use of technology. You’ll join a well-equipped department with modern resources and a curriculum designed to develop both practical coding skills and theoretical understanding. The school encourages creativity in lesson planning and offers strong support from senior leaders.

The Candidate
We’re looking for a teacher who:
  • Holds QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrates solid programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript or similar)
  • Can deliver lessons that are both technically accurate and accessible
  • Is committed to inspiring students in a fast-evolving subject
Both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.
