This is a temporary position to cover a leave of absence, starting in September, with the potential to be a long-term role.

The Opportunity: What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering Cutting-Edge Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum.
  • Fostering Problem-Solvers: Guide students in developing their coding skills, logical thinking, and understanding of computational principles in a supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department.
  • Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
