Computer Science Teacher

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a secondary school in Harrogate to recruit a dedicated Computer Science Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in September 2024, lasting until the end of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The successful candidate will teach Computer Science to Key Stages 3 and 4 and will be responsible for their own exam classes.

This academy, based in Harrogate, has pupils who behave with maturity and are tolerant of one another. The new behavior and engagement policy has raised standards in pupils’ behavior.

Requirements:

• Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject
• Previous experience of teaching in schools or supporting lessons in mainstream, provisional, or special needs settings
• Two references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record
• A passion for success and quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
