Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking ICT and Computing department. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop essential digital skills and explore computing in creative and meaningful ways. For September 2025.

Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across KS3/KS4/KS5

  • Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, data representation, and computational thinking

  • Prepare students for qualifications such as GCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science

  • Support learners of all abilities through well-planned, engaging lessons

  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics, or tech competitions

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

  • QTS and a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a closely related field

  • A passion for computing and emerging technologies

  • Strong programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or other languages)

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student progress

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Science
