Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking ICT and Computing department. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop essential digital skills and explore computing in creative and meaningful ways. This Computer Science Teacher starts in September 2025 and is a full time role in a Secondary School near Didcot.

Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across KS3/KS4/KS5

  • Teach a range of topics including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, data representation, and computational thinking

  • Prepare students for qualifications such as GCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science

  • Support learners of all abilities through well-planned, engaging lessons

  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics, or tech competitions

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

  • QTS or an equivalent qualification

  • A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a closely related field

  • A passion for computing and emerging technologies

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student progress

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Science
