Career Teachers are currently recruiting qualified QTS / QTLS Computer Science Teachers to start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint passionate and qualified Computer Science Teachers who are ideally looking for long-term work and available to start as soon as possible, to meet the high demand for our schools.

We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools across South Birmingham and the surrounding areas, and are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with part-time and full-time hours to suit, as well as short-term and long-term assignments, with some leading to permanent contracts.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in teaching Computer Science at KS3-4. The additional experience of teaching A level would be advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
