Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and informative computer science lessons to students
Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Support students in their learning and academic development
Utilise technology effectively in teaching methods
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching computer science at the secondary level
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong classroom management abilities
Desirable Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education or Computer Science
Experience in curriculum development and assessment
Participation in relevant professional development courses or workshops
Working Environment:
Work in a school environment with regular classroom teaching responsibilities
Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
Potential participation in extracurricular activities or school events
Adherence to school policies and procedures
