Computer Science Subject Lead

Temporary - 01/09/25 to 31/08/26

M1 to UPS3 plus TLR 3 of £2,000

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and forward-thinking classroom practitioner with a genuine passion for leading the Computer Science department and a desire to step into a leadership role. This one-year Subject Lead offers the ideal platform for an aspiring middle leader to gain valuable experience in leading a successful and ambitious curriculum area.

This role is designed to provide professional development and leadership exposure, with a focus on guiding, supporting, and inspiring a dedicated team, while ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding teaching and learning in Computer Science. It presents a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in curriculum leadership, strategic planning, and staff development.

As there will be an ECT 1 in the department, there will be an expectation to mentor the staff member. You will receive 1 mentor period plus an additional leadership period.
