We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Lecturer to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our learners by delivering high-quality teaching across computer science and IT-related subjects. Teaching experience is desirable, but confidence in sharing your experience and knowledge is essential. We provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.

What we're looking for

Qualifications

  • A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one within 2 years
  • A degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE A* to C or equivalent)

Experience

  • Experience teaching at Level 3 or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in an FE/HE environment
  • Experience with CAD is desirable

Knowledge & Skills

  • Effective communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
  • Proficiency with graphic production tools (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Knowledge of programming, software development, and health & safety standards
  • Ability to provide high-quality pastoral care and use ICT effectively in teaching
