About

Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Graduate Data Scientist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth, our client is looking to expand their team by hiring a candidate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a relevant Data Science / AI degree.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, keen to learn, and have a fundamental understanding of programming languages, along with being an analytical thinker.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the data team to build clean and robust data pipelines.
• Develop and test machine learning models to support business decision-making.
• Carry out ad hoc data requests as needed.
• Organize data and model outputs in a readable format for presentation to senior management.

Key Experience

• Strong academic background with at least a 2:1 Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Solid numerical skills with knowledge of statistical principles such as Bayesian and frequentist statistics.
• Experience with programming languages including SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with large language models.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms.
