Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Create programs for CNC machines from models and drawings using CAD/CAM software for offline and online programming.
2. Select the appropriate tooling to manufacture parts efficiently.
3. Choose the correct work holding systems for manufacturing.
4. Safely operate and use CNC machines.
5. Load programs onto machines, select tooling, and set offsets.
6. Inspect parts produced by the machine.
7. Use manual override to control feed rates and monitor during setup to prevent crashes.
8. Stop machines immediately in case of potential damage or crashes.
9. Produce parts that conform to drawings.
10. Perform deburring as needed.
11. Change inserts and tool offsets when required.
12. Accurately complete all documentation.
13. Use SFDC to clock on and off jobs accurately.
14. Report non-conforming parts and issues to the team leader.
15. Suggest improvements to programs and tooling to enhance productivity and quality.
