Job Description:

We're seeking someone ready to operate CNC lathes/milling machines, ensure high-quality first-off parts, and collaborate with quality and programming teams to maintain smooth and accurate production. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive team and contribute to advancements in precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (lathe or milling) independently
• Perform test runs and inspections with micrometers, verniers, and gauges
• Adjust offsets, feeds, and speeds to meet specifications
• Troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, chatter, or misalignment
• Work with programmers and QC to ensure accuracy
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a CNC Operator (lathe, milling, or both) with Doosan/Tormach machines
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
• Proficiency in setting tool offsets and using manual inspection tools
• Basic G-code knowledge and familiarity with CNC control panels (FANUC, etc.)
• Proactive attitude and interest in progressing to setup and programming roles

Preferred:

• Experience setting up CNC machines under supervision
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or high-precision, small-batch work
• Experience with multi-axis or live tooling machines
