Job Description:

We are working with our client, a world-class manufacturer based in the North East of England, to find a CNC Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a Miller and a Turner.

You will be responsible for setting, programming, and operating machines to produce products of the required quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications.
  • Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, and ring gauges.
  • Increasing your knowledge and training on other machining processes.

Person Specification

  • A time-served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience.
  • Programming experience.
  • Experience working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment.
  • Willing to learn, share knowledge, and train others.
  • Flexible approach, willing to do overtime as required to meet customer needs.
