Job Title: CAD Designer – SolidWorks

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

KO2's client, a leader in the manufacture of high-quality electronic machines used around the globe, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD designer who is proficient with SolidWorks and looking to work closely within a small design team, contributing to future product developments and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts from artistic impression through to CNC programming for manufacturing.
• Convert legacy 2D drawings to SolidWorks models.
• Create CNC router programming data for production of component parts.
• Produce detailed product specifications and technical data to support Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions.
• Collaborate with Technical Services to develop solutions for installation and presentation of hardware updates.
• Generate BOMs and documentation to support commercial activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with SolidWorks, including CAD and CAM skills.
• Beneficial: Working knowledge of electrical/electronic design interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working towards common goals.
