Job summary

Wander is seeking a Senior Compositor to lead high-end VFX work, blending live action, CG and generative elements to a professional finish.

You will supervise shots from turnover to final delivery, maintain high technical standards, and help evolve the studio's generative workflows. Expect autonomy with collaborative problem solving in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a compositor on film, HETV, or high-end commercial productions.
• Expert-level Nuke.
• A strong understanding of light, colour, and photographic realism.
• Experience within structured VFX pipelines including shot management, versioning and client review.
• Ability to work independently and to deadline without close supervision.

Wander is building its compositing capability for a pipeline that spans traditional VFX and generative shot creation. We're looking for a Senior Compositor with serious 2D credentials who is ready to work in a studio where the boundaries between those two disciplines are deliberately blurred.

Your primary work will be compositing, integrating live action, CG, and generative elements to a professional finish. You will work to brief and supervise your own shots from turnover through final delivery. Over time, everyone at Wander is expected to develop fluency across both traditional and generative workflows. We'll support that development, but the instinct needs to be there.

You likely have

• Significant experience as a compositor on film, HETV, or high-end commercial productions
• Expert-level Nuke
• A strong understanding of light, colour, and photographic realism
• Experience working within structured VFX pipelines including shot management, versioning, and client review
• The ability to work independently and to deadline without close supervision

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generative AI tools in a production context
• Experience as a lead or senior with shot supervision responsibilities
• Background in environment compositing or CG integration
