Job summary

One Of Us in London is seeking mid and senior compositors to join a growing team. You will seamlessly integrate visual elements, working with 2D supervisors, leads and artists to balance technical and creative aspects of each shot.

The role requires strong Nuke skills, stereo compositing, and the ability to lead and mentor others while maintaining high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Nuke with production experience.
• Experience with stereo compositing and multiple render passes.

Responsibilities

• Create visually stunning, photo-real VFX for film and TV.
• Collaborate with the Visual Effects Supervisor on creative and technical approaches.
• Integrate 2D, 3D and live-action elements to high-end standards.
• Manage workload, time, and notes from Supervisors.
• Balance creative and technical aspects of each shot.

Job description

We're looking for Mid and Senior Compositors to join our talented and growing team. As a Compositor, you will play a crucial role by seamlessly integrating visual elements. You will work closely with our 2D supervisors, Leads and artists, and other members of One Of Us to ensure the highest quality balancing the technical and creative elements of each shot you work on.

Requirements

• Creating visually stunning and photo-real visual effects for high-end Film and TV projects
• Collaborating with the Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
• Integrating 2D, 3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standard
• Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors
• Balancing the creative and technical aspects of each shot
• Working with a good knowledge of colour space principles

What we're looking for

• An excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke
• A familiarity with stereo compositing and working with multiple render passes
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
• A pro-active and collaborative work ethic
• A strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting
• The ability to multitask, prioritise and problem solve
• An understanding of colour space principles
• Ability to lead teams and carry out technical checks for other artists

Hours and location

Your contracted hours are 40 hours per week with one hour a day for lunch. The core working hours are 10:00am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday. We have a great office in Shoreditch where our artists are based.

You would be required to work from the office in London at least 2 days per week.
