Job summary

One Of Us is seeking Mid and Senior Compositors to join our growing team in London. You will seamlessly integrate visual elements, working closely with 2D supervisors, leads and artists to balance technical and creative aspects of each shot.

Responsibilities include integrating 2D, 3D and live-action components and collaborating with the VFX Supervisor. The role requires leading teams, mentoring peers, and applying colour space principles to achieve photo-real results.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Nuke with production experience.
• Familiarity with stereo compositing and multiple render passes.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pro-active and collaborative work ethic.
• Strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Integrate 2D, 3D and live-action elements to high-end VFX standards.
• Collaborate with the Visual Effects Supervisor to determine approach for shots.
• Manage own workload and incorporate notes from Supervisors.
• Balance creative and technical aspects of each shot.
• Lead teams and perform technical checks for other artists.

Job description

We're looking for Mid and Senior Compositors to join our talented and growing team. As a Compositor, you will play a crucial role by seamlessly integrating visual elements. You will work closely with our 2D supervisors, Leads and artists, and other members of One Of Us to ensure the highest quality balancing the technical and creative elements of each shot you work on.

• Creating visually stunning and photo-real visual effects for high-end Film and TV projects
• Collaborating with the Visual Effects Supervisor to evaluate the creative and technical approach to assigned shots
• Integrating 2D, 3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standard
• Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors
• Balancing the creative and technical aspects of each shot
• Working with a good knowledge of colour space principles

What we're looking for:

• An excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke
• A familiarity with stereo compositing and working with multiple render passes

Hours and location

Your contracted hours are 40 hours per week with one hour a day for lunch. The core working hours are 10:00am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday. We have a great office in Shoreditch where our artists are based.

You would be required to work from the office in London at least 2 days per week.
