Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Composite Technician to repair and refurbish aircraft interior components in our workshop, with occasional airside duties.

You will follow repair data and QC procedures, ensuring quality, safety and conformance to aviation standards. The role is permanent and based in our Surrey-based facilities with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing composite interior components on aircraft
• Able to follow technical data and repair instructions
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Flexibility to work across different business units as needed
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to obtain and maintain DBS clearance and airport security vetting for airside access

Responsibilities

Join our workshop repairing and refurbishing composite aircraft interior components, to ensure safety, functionality and a first-class passenger experience. This is a workshop-based role, with some airside work from time to time.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess damage to composite interior components and decide the right repair
• Carry out composite repairs, from preparation and laminating to bonding, curing and finishing, in line with approved repair data
• Refurbish and restore components to a high standard of safety and appearance
• Complete work cards and records accurately
• Follow workshop health, safety and quality procedures
• Carry out airside work from time to time

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in composite repair, ideally on aircraft interior components
• Able to follow technical data and repair instructions
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Flexibility is key: you will be flexible across the business and work across our different business units as needed
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to obtain and maintain DBS clearance and the airport security vetting needed for airside access
