Job Description:

We have a new opportunity to be part of our Composite Laminating team as a Composite Laminator – Weekend Nights.

As part of an expansion plan, we’re looking for a skilled Composite Laminator to join our weekend nightshift team (Friday to Sunday). This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in composite laminating, particularly within high-level motorsport settings.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Laminating composite components to high quality standards and production schedules using engineering drawings and laminate manuals.
  2. Preparing moulds and tools to predefined standards.
  3. Loading/unloading autoclaves and breaking out components.
  4. Ensuring materials are used as specified and laid up according to design data.
  5. Meeting challenging deadlines.
  6. Multitasking while remaining organized and focused.
  7. Maintaining high standards consistently.
  8. Adhering to Health and Safety requirements.
  9. Handling technical challenges and seeking assistance when needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Extensive experience in composite laminating, ideally in Formula One, motorsport, or automotive industries.
  2. Ability to interpret technical drawings, laminate manuals, and view CAD operations.
  3. Thorough understanding of composite manufacturing processes and materials.
  4. High accuracy and attention to detail.
  5. A methodical approach to work.
  6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dependable team player.
  8. Positive attitude and willingness to help across the department.
  9. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  10. Flexible attitude to working hours as required.

This is a full-time, office-based role at our campus in Silverstone, with travel to other locations as necessary.
