• 2 years' experience in Composite Repair (Aircraft experience desirable).
• Experience in both metal bonding or wet/prepreg layup.

Overview

JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Manchester looking to recruit a new Composite Repair Engineer to join their team. This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support. The Role

This Composite Repair Engineer is a Permanent Position based in Manchester. Working hours are 7-4PM Monday to Thursday and 7-1PM on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Complete metal bonding and wet/prepreg layup.
• Liaise with Planning to develop the repair techniques and methods from OEM Tech Data.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with procedures, regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Ensure all documentation is correctly completed and all planned tasks are carried out accurately and in order.
• Perform other tasks as required by Senior Management.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in Composite Repair (Aircraft experience desirable).
• Experience in both metal bonding or wet/prepreg layup.
