GAP Ltd. in Blackburn is seeking a hands-on Composite Door Fabricator to join our busy production team. You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality composite doors, following job sheets and production schedules to meet daily output.

The role requires practical experience with hand and power tools, good attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings and measurements. A can-do attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing or construction env.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements, sheets and drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and safe material handling.
• Physically fit for lifting components.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble composite doors to specs.
• Prepare door components, frames, hardware and glazing units.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Measure and cut materials to specification.
• Install locks, hinges and hardware.
• Check doors for quality and correct operation.
• Report defects or issues to supervisor.
• Follow job sheets and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe production area.
• Work as part of a production team to meet output goals.
