Cadillac Formula 1 is preparing for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship and is building a high-performance team. We seek a Composite Designer to contribute to the design of composite components and tooling, fostering innovation and shared success within our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop layouts and schemes for composite assemblies ensuring optimal design and functionality.
  • Create detailed CAD models and drawings of composite components and tooling.
  • Prepare manufacturing information including materials, techniques, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Supervise and guide Graduate Designers to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Formula 1 or top-tier motorsport industries.
  • Proven experience in composite design, including bodywork, wings, bumpers, and interior components.
  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX.
  • Knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing, and properties.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
