Job Description:

Role Overview: We are recruiting manufacturing engineers to support our RepairWorks facility, which repairs gas turbine components using various processes. The successful candidate will lead the setup of new repairs for Civil Trent products and support operations post-validation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create technical packages for new repairs, including process plans and inspection plans.
  2. Drive validation activities, including trials, compiling validation evidence, and inspection results.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve validation issues.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, including new product introduction, MRO, or process engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing validation processes.
  • Experience in authoring technical instructions and process plans.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and interpreting engineering drawings (GD&T).
