Job Description:

This position is being advertised to form a pipeline of candidates for current and future positions within Rolls-Royce Bristol's RepairWorks facility. Applicants should not expect immediate feedback. Rolls-Royce is a renowned brand at the forefront of innovation, designing and servicing systems that ensure safety and reliability. The role involves supporting the setup of new repairs for Civil Trent products, process improvements, and validation activities for repairs involving gas turbine components.

Responsibilities:
  • Create technical packages for new repairs, including process plans, instructions, and inspection plans.
  • Lead validation activities, including trial parts, validation evidence, and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve validation issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in new product introduction, maintenance, repair, overhaul, or process engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing validation processes.
  • Experience in authoring technical instructions and process plans.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP, especially in an MR&O environment.
  • Interpretation of maintenance data and engineering drawings.
