Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Component Engineer for a contract role based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting electronic component selection and dealing with queries on electronic parts.
  • Identifying and sourcing replacements for obsolete components.
  • Tracking and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analysing design margins and making necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
  • Maintaining documentation in accordance with Mil Standards.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience with electronic component selection and obsolescence management.
  • Familiarity with tracking regulations and standards within the Defence sector.
  • Understanding of Mil Standard requirements.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the defence or aerospace industries is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively on-site
