Job description

Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator

Elderly care provider in Sleaford (with regular travel to 6 homes)

£36,000 p/a + car allowance + bonus

Elite Search Associates are currently looking for a Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator to join a fantastic elderly care provider in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

Package for the Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator but not limited to:

  • £36,000 per annum + car allowance and a 10% SMART objectives bonus paid quarterly
  • Full time hours

Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator responsibilities:

  • Completing compliance reports - producing these for each home every month
  • Training & development of Deputy Managers, Team Leaders & Senior Carers
  • Dealing with complaints and safeguarding - ensuring they are logged, investigated and closed in a timely manner
  • Managing pressure sores, DoLs, falls & weights - ensuring logs are always up to date and proactively managed
  • Preparing for external inspections (typically one per month)
  • On-call approximately every third weekend
  • Improving the compliance and care standards of any struggling home by working closely on site with the home manager

Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator requirements:

  • Must have at least two years of experience in a Deputy Manager or similar role within the elderly care home sector
  • Must have at least one year of experience in providing training (e.g. manual handling, fire safety, medication, care planning)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and willing to study for NVQ 5 and/or 7
  • Must be computer literate (particularly email, Excel, and Word)
  • Must have a driving licence, access to own car, and be comfortable driving 80 miles or more for many days of the week
  • Must be able to work away from home Mon-Fri on a regular basis as required
  • All applicants must live within 30 miles of Sleaford and/or within 60 minutes drive as per Google Maps
