Key Responsibilities
As a Compliance Tax Senior, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring tax computations are prepared accurately, submitted to HMRC on time, and meet all compliance obligations
- Keep clients informed about developments in corporate tax, including the implications of new legislation
- Oversee and review junior colleagues' work, providing coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, reviewing analysis and involving internal specialists where appropriate
- Respond to ad hoc technical advice requests, coordinating with in-house experts to deliver comprehensive service
- Build strong relationships within your team, across the firm, and with clients to foster trust and collaboration
- Support clients with group reporting and tax audit work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage team operations and performance, including workflow planning, coaching, and career development
- Follow internal best practices and policies, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality work
- Enhance the firm's reputation through your technical knowledge, client service, and commitment to excellence
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable and proactive professional with:
- ATT qualification (CTA or ACA/ACCA desirable or in progress)
- At least 3 years' experience in tax compliance within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
