Job description

Compliance Systems Manager – Advisory & Audit Firm, City of London. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Are you an experienced Compliance Systems or Practice Manager with a passion for driving efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence in a professional services environment?

We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and growing Advisory and Audit Firm in the City of London. This is a key role where you will support the smooth running of the firm, helping to enhance systems, streamline processes, and deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring efficiency across all departments.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead on project management frameworks to ensure engagements are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices across teams.
  • Manage the implementation and optimisation of CCH and IRIS systems.
  • Maintain and update firm-wide policies and procedures, ensuring GDPR, AML, and CIOT/ACM compliance.
  • Oversee client onboarding and disengagement processes for seamless transitions.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address service delivery issues proactively.
  • Manage operational budgets, support forecasting, and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field; an MBA is preferred but not essential.
  • 5+ years’ experience in an operations management role within an advisory, audit, or consulting firm.
  • Strong experience in implementing and optimising CCH and IRIS systems.
  • Proven track record in project management, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience in change management and process optimisation is desirable.

Package

Salary band as set by Fletcher George is £45,000 - £55,000.
