Job summary

Lane Clark & Peacock is recruiting a Compliance Manager in London to support the Head of Compliance and CRCO in day-to-day operations of the compliance function. The role covers monitoring, regulatory change, financial crime prevention, reporting and investment-related compliance with supervision and escalation where needed.

This developmental role offers guidance and mentoring, a hybrid London-based working arrangement, and opportunities to advance technical knowledge and stakeholder confidence

Qualifications

• Relevant compliance, regulatory or financial-services experience.
• Experience of compliance monitoring, internal reviews, controls testing, regulatory research or reporting.
• Ability to analyse regulatory requirements and produce clear, well-structured written work.
• Sound judgement with excellent attention to detail and ability to escalate issues.
• Confidence working collaboratively across different business areas.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload and maintain audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation, review and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory change and assess impact of future changes.
• Deliver day-to-day monitoring in line with the monitoring programme.
• Undertake thematic and follow-up reviews and document actions.
• Provide day-to-day compliance queries support and draft high-quality advice.
• Support investment-related compliance matters and regulatory research.
• Assist with drafting reports for senior management and regulators.
• Manage relationships with external bodies like FCA and IFoA.
