The Role:

The Senior Analyst in Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) will develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to prevent legal and regulatory violations, maintaining risk within acceptable levels. The role involves collaborating with product and coverage teams to develop CRM solutions aligned with Citi's framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Issue Quality and support Issue Management processes to ensure proper issue handling.
  • Manage the Manager's Control Assessment (MCA) to identify risks and evaluate controls.
  • Contribute to designing, delivering, and maintaining compliance programs, policies, and practices.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on compliance risk assessments and issues.
  • Review materials for regulatory compliance and identify risks.
  • Investigate compliance issues, respond to regulatory inquiries, and prepare documentation.
  • Monitor adherence to Citi’s compliance policies and procedures.
  • Update and maintain compliance-related materials.
  • Collaborate across Citi departments as needed.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and internal policies to identify new risks.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide expertise to senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance and ethical standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of compliance laws, rules, risks, and typologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and innovative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration at all levels.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations with regional and global partners.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Relevant experience or education in compliance, legal, or control functions within financial services; advanced degree preferred.
