Our team places the client at the centre of our operations, and we are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Paralegal to support the activities of the Head of Risk and Compliance (HRC) and ensure our legal services meet the highest standards..

Is This Your Next Career Move?

As the Compliance Paralegal you'll assist in monitoring the delivery of efficient, appropriate, and compliant legal advice and assistance by the firm. You'll be responsible for dealing with routine enquiries, produce reports for the HRC and support Compliance and/or Risk activities. Other tasks include maintaining the claims, complaints, and MLRO records, undertaking legal or other research on compliance or risk matters and assist on special compliance projects as required.

You'll assist the Compliance Lawyer, carrying out spot checks/audits on files across the practice and reporting findings to the HRC. As well as preparing for the annual Lexcel inspection and providing a dedicated backup resource to the team.

This is not your typical Paralegal opportunity, it's quite unique well suited to someone keen to build a career in Risk and Compliance. As an active member of the Best Practice Group, you'll contribute to maintaining and improving our compliance standards.

You'll be a Law Graduate with experience working in the legal environment. Your keen eye for detail, strong organisational and communication skills, as well as your persistent and determined attitude are exactly what we're looking for.

Consider yourself a good team player? Great! Team work and collaboration is so important to us at VWV. You're someone who's confident and able to advocate and present orally when required, understand how to conduct effective case and transaction management, and audit these electronically.
