Compliance Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

We’re working with a reputable law firm seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their team and ensure adherence to professional standards, internal policies, and legislation.

The Job
  1. Conduct conflict of interest checks and maintain accurate assessment records.
  2. Analyse conflict search results and escalate issues when necessary.
  3. Carry out client due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks.
  4. Perform sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEP) screenings.
  5. Monitor regulatory developments and assist in updating internal policies.
  6. Conduct internal audits, support investigations, and prepare compliance reports.
  7. Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the SRA on compliance matters.
  8. Deliver training and guidance to staff on compliance issues.
About you
  1. Degree in Law, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience in compliance, regulation, or risk, ideally within a legal environment.
  3. Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework, including the SRA Handbook.
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
