Compliance Officer, part-time

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a skilled and highly experienced Compliance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a permanent position where you will have the autonomy to support the wider business and provide dedicated compliance assistance, with a key focus on regulation.

The business requires someone who enjoys building stakeholder relationships and can thrive in a fast-paced environment!

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance policies and procedures to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Providing expert support on licensing queries and renewals.
  • Supporting conduct risk and consumer duty guidance.
  • Submitting SMF applications.
  • Providing expert compliance advice to internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Regulatory reporting and returns.
  • Staying updated on relevant regulatory updates.
  • Assisting with board meetings and organization.
  • Aiding with financial crime prevention.
  • Participating in horizon scanning.
