We're looking for a Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team at Make UK. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for managing the enrolment process for new and returning learners across our training programmes. You'll play a key part in ensuring compliance, improving learner retention, and delivering a first-class onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enrolment Management: Coordinate and process learner enrolments, ensuring accurate data entry and confirmation procedures are followed.
  • Learner Support: Act as the primary contact for enrolment queries, guiding learners through onboarding and providing clear, timely information.
  • Funding Administration: Handle learner changes such as withdrawals, transfers, non-starters, and breaks in learning. Liaise with internal teams including Data Management and Finance to ensure accuracy.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all enrolment procedures comply with internal policies and government funding regulations. Stay informed on sector developments and policy updates.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain and update learner records in the MIS system, and support with reporting and funding claims uploads.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments including recruitment, delivery teams, and quality assurance to provide seamless learner support.
  • Invigilation & Archiving: Support exam invigilation processes and manage learner portfolios and records in the archive room.
  • Customer Service: Build positive, professional relationships with apprentices and employers, always promoting a high standard of service.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in compliance, enrolment, or learner services-ideally within an educational or training environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confidence using MIS or similar data systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service.
