Compliance Officer / Insurance Claims Coordinator with a customer focused approach, excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills, as well as great problem-solving ability is required for a fast-paced housing service within a well-established company.

This role is known internally as an Insurance and Compliance Officer

SALARY: £30,201 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Evesham, Worcestershire, West Midlands (WR11) - with some travel to other sites as required

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Compliance Officer / Insurance Claims Coordinator with a customer focused approach, excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills, as well as great problem-solving ability.

Working as the Compliance Officer / Insurance Claims Coordinator you will join the Governance and Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a key role supporting the delivery of risk, assurance, compliance, and insurance activities across the Group.

As the Compliance Officer / Insurance Claims Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating insurance claims handling, producing reports, maintaining databases and administering customer satisfaction surveys.

DUTIES

Your duties as Compliance Officer / Insurance Claims Coordinator will include:

  • Coordinating insurance claims handling, liaising with internal colleagues and external insurers to ensure efficient, customer-focused resolution
  • Supporting the production of compliance reports for the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee, and Board
  • Assisting in preparing risk and insurance reports and maintaining accurate risk register and fraud data
  • Supporting internal audit coordination, business continuity planning and data integrity across assurance systems
  • Administering customer satisfaction surveys and supporting project tasks as needed

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • A Levels (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards further qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Strong IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage workloads to tight timescales and build strong working relationships
  • A customer-focused approach, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Housing Association
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and/or compliance in regulated sectors
  • Understanding of the role of Housing Associations
