Job summary

HSB, part of the Munich Re Group, is seeking a Compliance Officer to help maintain the Compliance Management System, support governance processes, and produce regulatory reporting. You will work with colleagues across HSB, Munich Re UK and the Munich Re Group to embed strong compliance practices.

The role emphasizes analytical rigour, stakeholder communication, and a proactive approach to regulatory change in a hybrid London or Manchester setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, risk, governance, audit or regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty and conduct risk.
• Awareness of financial crime risks (AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud).
• Experience producing governance reporting or regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Compliance Management System and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Deliver compliance monitoring activities and coordinate governance processes.
• Prepare regulatory reporting and management information, maintain policies and documentation.
• Collaborate across HSB, Munich Re UK and Munich Re Group to embed compliant practices.
