Our Banking client is looking for an analytical individual in operational/ business risk, adding to their Compliance team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing compliance advice on all matters related to Reporting.
• Offering guidance and advice on UK and European regulations to front office and Compliance teams across CIB and the wider Group.
• Advising the business on Compliance topics and participating in relevant governance committees, regarding transactions, businesses and regulatory topics.
• Providing an effective training programme for the relevant Global Markets businesses on relevant rules and regulations.
• Reviewing and challenging Risk Controls.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of various compliance policies and procedures impacting Global markets, particularly the UK and EU (MiFID II/R, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC etc.)
• 4+ years in controls/ operational risk.
• Excellent analytical skills and good judgement, with a proven ability as a problem solver. Ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Clear and concise English communication.
