A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Compliance Officer in Buxton. This role involves ensuring compliance across housing and public buildings through audits, inspections, and documentation. Candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English, with preferred experience in a compliance role and relevant health and safety certifications. Strong organizational skills and a full UK driving license are required. The position offers a pay rate of £12.82-£16 per hour and includes various responsibilities managing compliance records and contractor coordination.
In your role as a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance across housing and public buildings. This includes conducting audits, quality inspections, and verifying that all inspections, reports, and certifications meet regulatory and company standards. Key areas of oversight include electrical systems (EICRs), gas safety (LGSR), asbestos management, fire safety, legionella, lift safety, accessibility and disability compliance, and radon. The role involves maintaining accurate compliance records, liaising with contractors and internal teams, managing compliance documentation, regulatory reporting, and overseeing building fabric maintenance. Ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and addressing any arising issues promptly is essential.
Administrative Duties: Process orders with contractors, verify payment requests, and provide administrative support as required.
