Job summary

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is seeking a Planning Enforcement Advisor to support the development services team. You will advise on enforcement, investigate breaches, gather evidence, and carry out site visits to achieve timely resolutions.

You should have a compliance and monitoring background, be proficient with Microsoft Office and the internet, and communicate effectively with officers, councillors, developers, and communities.

Job description

You will work collaboratively within the development services team across the Alliance and provide advice on all aspects of planning enforcement to officers, Councillors, developers, site owners and relevant community groups.

The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance and monitoring and have the ability to fully investigate and action all complaints regarding breaches of planning control, with emphasis on intelligence/ evidence gathering, site visits and liaison with planning officers to seek effective resolution.

You must be competent with Microsoft Office and use of the internet and be an excellent communicator at all levels.

£31,015- £33,119 per annum pro rata- plus essential car user allowance
