Compliance Monitoring Engineer (PIK)

Job Description

Ryanair Engineering, delivered by PAML, has an exciting opportunity within the Compliance Department for the position of Compliance Monitoring Engineer. This role is based in our Prestwick base maintenance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring policies, procedures, and processes align with regulatory and customer requirements.
2. Conducting independent quality audits of facilities, procedures, vendors, and airworthiness standards according to an audit program devised by the CMM.
3. Maintaining knowledge of maintenance requirements and standards, including PART-145 approval, to ensure effective and comprehensive audits.
4. Completing Non-Conformity Reports for audited areas with non-compliance issues, submitting these to the responsible person, and supporting the closure of Non-Conformance Reports.
5. Assessing regulatory requirements to ensure minimum compliance is maintained.
6. Collaborating with all value streams within the business to support change initiatives.
7. Supporting various compliance-related activities, including continuous improvement across all sites.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of EASA & UK regulations related to maintenance, operation, engineer licensing, and certification.
• Experience working in an aircraft/component maintenance organization.
• Basic understanding of quality-related processes and procedures within an aircraft/component maintenance organization.
• Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines independently.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet.
