Job Description

We are recruiting a Compliance Monitoring Analyst to contribute to a risk-based monitoring plan and deliver high-quality, timely reviews focused on conduct risk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting outcome reviews of first line business activities, liaising with the business, testing, and drafting reports.
  • Staying aware of regulatory priorities, industry developments, and business strategies to inform the monitoring plan.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with operational staff and second line colleagues to support process improvements.
  • Delivering end-to-end outcome-based monitoring reviews and following up on actions.
  • Keeping up-to-date with conduct risk developments and sharing knowledge within the team.
  • Utilising technology and analytics in monitoring work, with guidance from technical experts.
  • Ensuring processes, systems, and controls are in place to identify and escalate risks, ensuring fair treatment of customers.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Financial professional qualifications (advantageous).
  • Experience with L&G products, in first or second line roles.
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty and delivering good customer outcomes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management, especially conduct risk.
  • Experience in financial or professional services (advantageous).
  • Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and draw conclusions.
  • Leadership in interviews and debriefs with senior management.
  • Confidence in making regulatory judgments, with proactive decision-making and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
