Job summary

Mphasis UK Ltd in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Head of Compliance, Compliance Oversight and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (SMF16/SMF17). You will provide independent oversight of the regulatory compliance framework and lead the firm’s AML/CTF arrangements, ensuring adherence to FCA rules and consumer duties.

Reporting to the Managing Director and accountable to the Board, you will design, implement and monitor a risk-based compliance program, advise senior management, and drive a culture

Qualifications

• Significant experience within an FCA-regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook: CONC, SYSC, DISP, Consumer Duty and SM&CR.
• Experience developing and monitoring compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
• Experience in regulatory risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
• Knowledge of AML, sanctions, due diligence and financial crime requirements.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience; professional compliance qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's Compliance and Financial Crime function with independent oversight.
• Act as SMF16 (Compliance Oversight) and SMF17 (Money Laundering Reporting Officer), subject to FCA approval.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Provide regulatory advice and challenge to senior management and the Board.
• Oversee Consumer Duty framework and monitor customer outcomes.
• Monitor Appointed Representative and outsourced activities for regulatory control.
