Base pay range

Our client is seeking a Compliance Advisor to join their growing compliance team. This position is ideal for an AVP or strong Analyst looking to step up into a dynamic and expanding governance function.

The role involves providing hands-on, trading floor-based compliance advice to public markets business units, managing regulatory obligations, and collaborating on compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide real-time compliance advice to fixed income and equities trading desks regarding relevant rules, regulations, and internal policies.
Manage regulatory returns and respond to enquiries from exchanges
Coordinate with the broader Compliance Team and Financial Crime Compliance on key initiatives and projects.
Develop, update, and deliver in-person training sessions for staff on compliance and regulatory topics.

Experience and Skills Required

Proven track record in an Advisory Compliance role within an investment bank, trading house or hedge fund.
Experience handling regulatory enquiries and exchange-related queries.
Strong knowledge of MiFID, EMIR, and exchange rules.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide practical advice in a fast-paced environment.
