About the Company

As a pivotal member of our compliance team, you will work closely with Group and Divisional Management, reporting directly to the COO. Your role involves providing expert compliance support, fostering a culture of continual improvement, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Your Role
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and financial crime-related support
  2. Review and manage counter-party relationships
  3. Monitor compliance performance and communicate results to management
  4. Review Delegated Authority agreements and advise on risk mitigation
  5. Provide guidance on financial crime prevention measures
  6. Act as a subject-matter expert on Lloyd's/London Market/Wholesale practices
  7. Develop and deliver training programmes for staff
  8. Oversee the integration of acquired firms
Requirements

To succeed, you should have demonstrable knowledge of FCA compliance requirements related to wholesale and reinsurance business, and a thorough understanding of Lloyd's, ICOBS, and SMCR regulations. Experience in a broking or operational role within an insurance brokerage, with familiarity in Lloyd's, the London market, and reinsurance sectors, is essential. You should possess excellent attention to detail, communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
