We are currently seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Hard Facilities Management team, covering healthcare sites/hospitals on a contract with an NHS Trust. The sites are based in London and Bedford, with flexible work location options. Hybrid working is available, allowing some home working. This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.

Rydon Maintenance Ltd is an expanding division of the Rydon Group, providing hard facilities management and property maintenance services, mainly in the healthcare sector. We operate in sensitive healthcare environments, including mental healthcare facilities, community hospitals, and rehabilitation units. Our experience includes constructing community hospitals and maintaining over 300 buildings for 20 Trusts.

Job Purpose

The role involves managing statutory and contractual compliance of hard services for an NHS Trust contract. You will liaise with Service Managers to ensure compliance, conduct audits, advise on improvements, and support action plan development.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring statutory compliance for the Hard FM contract, ensuring inspections are scheduled and reactive works are completed promptly.
  • Completing and submitting client reports on time as per contractual deadlines.
  • Providing performance information for contract reports and ensuring compliance activities are documented.
  • Maintaining a document library of compliance evidence and ensuring proper storage of contract paperwork.
  • Understanding and adhering to health and safety responsibilities, ensuring site teams do the same.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a contractual environment within healthcare or similar industry, with knowledge of contractual obligations. Experience in Hard FM services is preferred. Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), excellent communication, client relationship skills, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines with accuracy are essential. A full UK driving license is required.
