We are seeking a dedicated, competent, qualified, and skilled Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) with a successful track record to join our team. The role involves ensuring continued compliance by managing service providers and overseeing fire safety compliance across our estate.

Role Overview:

The Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) will be the nominated Responsible Person for fire safety, overseeing the Fire Risk Management service, and shaping fire property compliance and asset management strategies to ensure properties are safe and compliant with relevant legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.

You will manage risk assessments, develop fire safety policies, ensure legal compliance, collaborate with teams, oversee maintenance programs, and maintain a safe environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and manage workload to meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead fire safety compliance programs across all sites.
• Review and maintain action logs for risk assessments and audits.
• Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Liaise with fire authorities, insurers, and auditors.
• Provide fire safety training and advice to staff.
• Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on fire safety laws and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and management teams.
• Chair fire-related meetings and address issues.
• Lead all aspects of fire compliance management.
• Build relationships for knowledge transfer and training.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of fire safety laws and regulations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety management or compliance roles.
• Qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE certifications, or equivalent.
• Experience with regulatory bodies and emergency services is a plus.
• Ability to develop risk management strategies.
